Whoa there, Tex! Have you cleared your cache? Checked to make sure you weren't logged out or logged in as someone else? Tracks can be saved both ways, and they're saved to different directories - meaning that if you make a track while logged out and then log in, you won't see it. And vice versa.

Nope. Just log back off and it will be available. There's no way for us to erase anyone's data. The worst you can do is forget to save, or accidentally save over a previous track. Which is why I recommend saving often, and in iterations (so the next time you save, it's "track02" then "track03" etc)
Now, if you were to specifically find and delete the .sol file on your computer, then your tracks would be erased. And if you make tracks on a computer with a firewall, or that regularly purges internet file directories (like a library computer, for instance), then you'd stand to lose those tracks eventually.

Just to be sure, you are talking about Line Rider Unbound right?
if not then this thread should be moved to the right section if it was unbound then you wouldn't need to open up linerider.com i think...

Good point. My original response was referring to Unbound (because you still need to log in to the site from a browser), but on my second post, I was thinking of the browser version (doh!), which I don't think he's talking about, so I won't move the thread.
See, if I had organized this forum, there would just be a single "Lind Rider 2: Unbound" section, instead of three. I'm really not a fan of spreading forum categories thin like this, personally - but at the same time, I don't want to tear the place apart just to keep things neat and logical. So things will have to stay this way until a larger update comes along.
...although, that doesn't mean I can't change these vague titles, for my sanity's sake.

good to hear opxnasty
another thing to note is that flash player has a limit on the size of the files that it saves on your computer. if you go over this size it will delete your tracks!
to prevent this from happening- right click flash player click settings click the little folder tab move the slider up to "unlimited"
hope that helps
@ - capt@inxile i 100% agree with you two times i sent guys at inxile information on how it should be set up but each time they didn't listen, and we still have this very confusing setup
it really does need to be changed at some point...

Ah HA, so this is a browser-version issue. Well, I'll move this, then. I'm glad you stumbled back on your tracks again, opx! (ps- to dual ride, click on the start icon)
@BHCS - Yeah, I've talked to people about the forum structure and they agree that it needs to change. What would be great is to have all the Sparkworkz forums structured in the same basic way. And at some point, I'm sure that will happen. What I'd like is a nondestructive way to do that, but this forum in particular is...different. I'm not entirely sure it's modular enough for that. I'm still learning the ins and outs.

yeah, i have heard about the sparkworkz project, sounds good but might have some issues *PMed*
just a note- i have changed the name of the thread to something more suitable, and marked it as "solved" so that we don't get people answering solved questions
hope that's OK
