*Official Statement on Physics Bugs*
They can't force us to use silverlight anyway...or if they do, they lose about 6000 customers/players. btw, have you tried changing the physics code to counter act the different points? Or will that not work? Also, couldn't you just have updated the flash version, instead of switching to silverlight? There'd be a whole lot less problems.

I agree, why move to silverlight when you can just update the already playable flash version?
the reason probably why they moved to silverlight is just that microsoft would pay inxfile to have line rider using silverlight instead of flash. And right now inxfile needs alot of money to keep line rider 2 unbound to keep going. That is also why this site has added so many ads so they can make money from that.
#1 BUG IS DEFINITELY STILL THERE! This sucks because the silverlight version rocks and it doesn't work.

I just thought you should know it's InXile

#1 Is still there because a track i created 3 days ago wont work, i have now stopped using the silverlight version:P
Flash FTW
What about the username problem? The silverlight login screen only holds 15 letters, and for me thats a big problem, cuz i happen to have 16 letters in my username
...and someone else told me that it wont accept parentheses, so they cant login either..... ugh... Please get to it when you can linerider pplz...

Sorry 'bout ur problem.
Hey i have all those bugs and more>
First:yesterday i saved a track and now it isnt there.
Second:when i press space bar i am still on the line tool, not in the hand tool.
third:when i put a flag, the level doesent work the same as when i start form the begining.
Fourth:The other day the game didnt wanted to draw a line were i wanted, simply it was imposible to draw a line in that sector, icould draw lines in other spaces but not there.
Is this are real bugs for all please fix them or tell me how to fix them or what is hapening.
P.S:the new silverlight version is cool, it will be better without the bugs.
Stupid Stupid silverlight, I saved a really awsome track that took me a long time to make and the next time I went on, i looked in saved on compiter and saved online and niether had worked. The saved online showed the track name but when I openned it it still was a blank screen. Silverlight sucks.
come on you guys
stop being cry babies cause you lost your tracks
linerider silverlight and silverlight itself are still in developement
and seing as you arent paying for the free version you have no right to winge and whine about known bugs
also could you add sheep dip into the music list inxile?
I found a way around that importing bug. All I do is load the track, then load a different track I made, and then load the first track again. The physics in the first track work the second time I load it. It's not really a cure but I can at least watch it.

Well, you avtually hit T to do hand tool. I just do that, but I do remember space. I just wish I knew programming.
shut it u twit, sum of us have spent time and effort on these, and all u can say :is oh well!!!! WELL F**K YOU, YOU B*****D!

1. i never said oh well
2. what would you spend more time on a free demo of a game or to get a game thats goning to make thousands released faster
3. your not even paying for it
4. both silverlight and linerider silverlight are both in beta thats why they have beta at the end of them
5. i understand you put effort and time into them but you knew these bugs were here
6. why not record once it's done
7. if u hate it so much then use BETA 2 and shut it urself

ok guys i understand ur mad... but they left the old linerider as an option for a reason... after ten minutes on the new one i went back to the old one... and someone (although i don't remember who) had a very good point when he said that they should be spending more time on the one they are going to sell than some silverlight crap... ollieman... chill bro

Hope you can fix it soon!
he crashed...
(dont ask why i measured it...)

Hello all, we just got out of a meeting in regards to the Silverlight version. Here is the statement from us at Inxile.
LineRider Silverlight is currently in Beta. As such, we are still in the process of fixing all of the issues. We are aware of the problems people are having with the physics and are working hard to address them.
Please note:
1. The problem with a track CREATED IN SILVERLIGHT not riding properly after it has been saved and re-loaded has been fixed. However, this only applies to new tracks you create. Any tracks made prior to this bug fix ( live as of 6/30/2008 6:00PM ) will still not ride the same as when they were first created. We apologize for the inconvenience. As with any change we make to the Silverlight version, you’ll need to clear your cache in order for it to take effect.
2. The problem with tracks CREATED IN FLASH not riding properly after they have been imported is our #1 priority right now and we are looking into possible solutions. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that this issue will be fixed. Although the physics code used in the Silverlight version is IDENTICAL to that of the Flash version, differences in how floating point arithmetic is implemented in Flash vs. Silverlight is causing very slight differences in the rider's position. Over even a very small amount of time, these differences build up and result in a very different ride.
3. As stated in #2, because of how floating point arithmetic is implemented in Flash vs. Silverlight, many of the tricks you were able to perform in the Flash version are harder ( or sometimes easier ) to pull off in the Silverlight version.
We are working hard to find a solution to the above issues ( #2 and #3 ) and we ask that you hang in there until we can sort it all out.
We'd also like to thank everyone for your help in testing out LineRider Silverlight and giving us your feedback. It has been immensely helpful to us in tracking down and fixing bugs!
Thanks again!
